On holiday in the area we decided to visit the museum and art gallery whilst taking photos around the harbour. So glad we went in. This is a little gem with lots of interesting exhibits as well as a WWII exhibition set up by local schoolchildren. The whole museum is very child friendly with history, pirates, local palaeontology and a small... More

£4.95 buys you an adult ticket which allows you to visit as often as you like for a whole year! Accompanied children are free. This museum is a real surprise. I don't think anyone could fail to be astounded by the archeology section which gives a very clear history of the area with fascinating information to stimulate your mind and... More

Interesting museum displaying the history of Tenby with an art gallery added to it. For the price of entrance you get to get a years membership to free entrance but it's not the sort of place we would visit again as once you have seen it you have seen it. All in all worth a visit and good value for... More

Lovely local museum to learn all about the history of Tenby. Very friendly, helpful staff. Free entry for children, with age appropriate worksheets to making the experience more engaging. Adult entry is valid for 1 year so plenty of opportunities for return visit.

All aspects of Tenby on show here, great local history from the Mammouth and Hyena bones found on Caldey Island right up to the great footage of the 1950's. The gallery of Augutus & Gwen Johns work is great, worth it for that alone.

This must be the most picturesque gallery and museum in the UK? The museum is informative and is aimed at families (quite rightly) - the art gallery section is tiny but is a gem for lovers of Augustus and Gwen John. Find of the day is the painting of Tenby beach in 1799 complete with Bathing carriages and skinny dippers.
