This trail passes through the town and the walk along the river is fantastic. A large number of different birds can be observed and there are metal sculptures at intervals along the way. Seats are provided and just sitting and looking isrewarding.

This trail is far more personal. A mix if terrain, lovely villages, and if the sun shines, well it's a classic.

Moderate walking. Only one day involved a bigger climb. Suitable for family. Pub at or near each end of day for hot chocolate reward.

The trail had spectacular views, was extremely well sign-posted throughout, and was moderately challenging but always still enjoyable. Favourite bit: Enochdu to Spittal of Glenshee. This is relatively easy leg of the trail. The climb out of Blairgowrie is pretty steep and could be off-putting to non-hikers, but it gets easier after that.
