It is a really wonderful place for people who enjoy to be close to wild animals - we spend 2 mornings there looking at animals and birds flying or walking near you and you discover something new constantly.i visited Isle of Wight during February half term - nice place to spend time indoors and enjoy animals

Went there because it was about the only thing open on the island in mid Feb. But it was brilliant. Sure, it's small...but even for a regular zoo visitor like me, it was different enough to keep me interested. The animals were sympathetically and cleverly housed and displayed, and the sloths, slow Lorises, and armadillos were amazing. My 2 yr... More

We had the best time here, the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They have a huge range of animals here and at the start you walk through these beautiful exhibits and have birds flying around you, all open, it was just magical! As you walk further and further in there are more enclosures, all of which seem to be... More

We visited here several years ago and it has been improved and changed a lot since then. It will be even better when the soft play area is finished. Unfortunately as it was winter some of the animals where hiding away! However it was still interesting and worth a visit.

Visited today, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It was so lovely and quiet, and although it was chilly there were so many opportunities to see all of the animals. I love how the zoo's knowledge and perseverance has contributed towards making the zoo more of a conservation project. I thoroughly recommend the Animal Experiences; I did the armadillo experience and... More

We had looked at Amazon World on the internet before we came to the Isle of Wight and thought that we would make a visit here. The cost of getting in was £10.95 and you can have 1 free visit within the next 7 days after the purchase of your ticket. This is worth coming to when the weather is... More

There were quite a few animals to see, mostly inside. There are birds walking freely around inside. I recommend taking the family and visiting the kids will love it.

My wife and I visited this zoo park as 'somewhere different'. We were staying on the Isle of Wight for a 'New Year Weekend Break'. This zoo is definitely different to a normal zoo. All the animals are from the Amazon area. We spent a couple of hours here and most of it is undercover. Helpful if if the weather... More
