Been visiting IOW for past 9 years. I came across Alverstone Mead online and visited for the first time this year. So glad we did. We saw red squirrels for the first time and so close up, it was great! My son absolutely loved it....More

You hildt on a walk today we came across this lovely sanctuary. There were loads of birds to see many at really close quarters. Sorry that I haven't attached anyvpictures so you'll have to visit it to see for yourselves.
