It's amazing

It's even more enjoyable than sun city national park. If I would travel again I visit lions park instead of national park. So try it......

I had gone on a short layover in Johannesburg with a few of my crew members. We had a blast, we had some pictures taken playing with the baby lion cubs who are so adorable! It was such a neat experience. They also have a giraffe who is really friendly and some ostrich! this would be fantastic for adults or... More

We went to the Lanseria lion park on a Sunday morning because feeding takes place at 12 noon. We drove in our own car. This was truly a sight to behold as the lions were given their meals near to where we had parked our car. We saw white and brown lions as well as the cheetahs and wild dogs.... More

Friends thought our children would enjoy this after only a brief glance of lion and no wild dog in the Kruger. I had serious misgivings but read somewhere about their reassurances that cubs welfare comes first etc I agreed. Have to say our first impressions were not great. Animals in the main area near the shop did not have great... More

Thank you Sarah for your comments. I have written to your personal Trip Advisor email requesting certain information in order for me to deal with this appropriately so it does not happen again. Your comments are valid and it's the same old story of what we are not told we might not know. I regret your bad experience, and despite... More

I spent a great day at Lion Park. The cub are so cute and lovely to touch. Picture taken was so nice! We drove our own car into the camps and lions walk passed our car! So close to them. Watched them before, during and after meal with the lions. How they fight for meat, and how to finish their... More

I enjoyed the professionalism exhibited by the guides and staff at the Lion Park. The company that transported me and my family were very good and Trinity Travel & Tours made the tour memorable. I advise anyone travelling for tourism to South Africa to visit Lion Park. It was a life experience for us.

A great experience, friendly volunteers and incredible sights. I hope the animals are this friendly and approachable because they want to be: they are so tranquil and calm in the petting areas! Tonnes of close views and a wide variety of animals in the game area. Great photo opportunities and quite educational- exposure to animals I didn't know existed! It's... More

Thank you so much for your posting. To put your mind at rest, Lions have to be the laziest animals on the planet! They do not move around in the wild as much as one would imagine, the women tend to do the hunting, and then they sleep all day! Our lion enclosures are more than they need. Best regards More

The lion park in Johannesburg is a driving zoo which allows people to get up really close to many large animals. The white lions are a rare and beautiful sight to see very close to the vehicle. Often you can almost reach out and touch them...not that you should try this! You will also see Impala, Springboc, zebras, and other... More
