How often can you ride on a 100 plus year old horse drawn tram? It's a must do experience if you're in Douglas You probably won't want to ride on it for too long though!

One of my favourite things to do in Douglas is to catch the Horse Tram. Pulled by a wonderful horse, with name badge, it takes about 15-20 minutes to travel the length of the promenade. It is a relaxing way to travel. £3 one way.

One of the best transport options in the IOM. Seemingly unloved by the Govt as there were moves to close it. A must to do when visiting the IOM. Get a one day transport ticket to make use on the Steam and MER.

We boarded the tram at Douglas Ferry Port and travelled the length of the prom and back. It was a lovely sunny day and beautiful views along the prom. Such a great way to see the coastline and enjoy the leisurely pace.

Your visit to the IOM should include this Horse Tramway which is the Oldest operational one in the World. Meet Teddy and all his friends who are going to pull your tram along the rails.

An adult single ticket is £3 and £2 for a child. A day ticket is £6 adult and £3 child. Hope this helps. It is great experience!
