Definitely Victorian transport but Wow, wotta experience!!
Tip: get a day explorer ticket, you can use steam railway, electric railway & horse tram all in one day! There's 3 & 5 day options too

Wonderful experience. Punctual hop on hop off tram ride. For just £6.00 you can travel all day up and down the promenade. These beautiful horses look well cared for. The staff are friendly and helpful. A definate must if staying in Douglas.

The horse drawn trams are definitely still operating. I have just been for a short Easter break on the island at the end of March and they were up and running on a daily timetable. You can pick up an information leaflet at the sea terminal which will show the times they run during the day. Hope that helps!
