Staying at Oldway apartments Paignton Devon and lucky enough to be very close to the gardens and Mansion. Although the Mansion and other buildings are closed the gardens are free for anyone to walk round. The gardens are maintained by I believe the council and...More

This beautiful building is falling into disrepair and is closed to the public. Torbay council did a disservice to Paignton residents by selling it off to a developer who has failed to do the agreed development, and has left the building to the elements. The...More

As a house it is beautiful , it's a pity the council has it locked up , they don't seem to be looking after it ,the gardens are quite well looked after , parking is free, you wouldn't believe you were in Paignton .

Unfortunately not. The grounds are open. As this is now council owned it may be worth contacting the council to ask if a visit to the house could be arranged. Good luck.
