This is a lovely garden centre with a very good selection of plants which are well displayed and a reasonable price. The indoor plant section has just been extended without losing too much outside plant space. There is a large hard landscaping area too with statues and choices of paving stones/pebbles etc. Inside there is a large indoor area with... More

Lovely afternoon tea, needed it after shopping - buying much more than plants. The whole Garden Centre is well worth a visit.

I visited the coffee shop today with my friend for lunch, (we've done this every few months for years now). The experience was excellent: prompt friendly service, Food delicious, served hot with fresh salad garnish, clean+tidy, all in all very worth while. My only negative observation would be the scones, very dark brown almost burnt, so didn't have one. Will... More

Always a good cup of coffee here but scones and cakes are rather expensive. The garden centre stocks all sorts of items and is pleasant to walk round, although goods are still rather on the expensive side. Don't visit here on a regular basis.

I love coming here for a sneaky cake and a bit of peace; with the whole family for a chat and a catch up; with my dog for a scone and a drink after a lovely walk; to buy all my plants for the garden and that birthday card and gift I forgot to get! There is always a reason... More

Have been to poplar tree coffee shop a couple of times now. The hot chocolate is lovely and the scones are very good but first visit was better than the return trip. Lovely coffee rooms though and well worth a visit for just coffee or a meal.

The coffee shop sells delicious cakes as well as sustaining lunches. The garden centre sells high-quality plants and a selection of gardening sundries and gifts. There is a good-sized car park.

Me and my grandchildren popped in her for a drink and biscuit each, like a lot of places that get lots of good reviews they believe their own press. Our bill was nearly £30 and when my grand daughter went upto the counter for some milk to cool her drink down they ignored her, I then went up and they... More
