This is a wonderful cosy pub, especially on a cold winters day. Roaring log fire, good food and real ales. Favourite pub in bowness, with lots of history. Would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Craking good fire. Cracking good beer. Cracking good staff. Cracking good Inn. Did not eat here on what was our first visit but plenty others were. Will certainly return and might eat next time.

Yes it is during the day. Plenty of children's meals and drinks. It gets a bit louder in the evenings.
