Booked on recommendations and wow, was I not disappointed. Birthday round, as we were staying at headlam hall, (20 mins) up the road. Very friendly reception, pro shop and bar team with a cheeky bacon barm and coffee before we started.

This is a really nice golf course with plenty of open fairways. There are streams to trap the unwary but not difficult for the average golfer. The "Pro" was very helpful and friendly
