We really enjoyed our ride on this route. I don't know why reviewers are commenting on the lack of seats - I was struck by how many there were! It was a beautiful May day when we visited here and the hedgerows were full of...More

Walked this recently and it didn't quite live up to expectations. The first part leaving Market Weighton was good, with lots of birds to spot. The lack of seating, somewhere just to pause or have a drink spoilt it for me. Reaching Beverley the signs...More

I have frequently walked along the Hudson Way Rail Trail and also cycled along it. It is a popular placer to visit and there are an abundance of wild flowers and apple trees and sloe and brambles to glean

Wether your wanting a short stroll or a long walk, then this is ideal. No traffic apart from the odd horse and rider or maybe a cyclist. Plenty of what nature has to offer. And all that you have to give is your time.

The old Beverley to York rail line now enjoyed by walkers, cyclists, horse riders that goes from Beverley to Market Weighton. Can get muddy when the weather turns wet but is a wonderful journey across the the rolling Yorkshire Wolds.
