Spend a day in a Breton farm from 1850 ! In this well preserved setting a fun and modern visitor experience awaits you. Ideal for young and old alike, come along and experience the day-to-day lives of our ancestors. A fun experience : learn while enjoying yourself, whatever your age ! Try your hand at a treasure hunt and enjoy the play area with 17 Breton games. A living farm : Seeing is one thing, taking part is something altogether different ! Participate in the activities, including discovering the animals, feeding them, and moorland milling. A great time for all : Give your senses a treat ! Taste the butter, the pancakes, and listen to the noises of the washerwomen'slaundry beetles. Feel the textureof the wool.

Pleasant and surprisingly busy afternoon out to this living museum. As we have young children and do not have fluent French, we avoided the guided tour and meandered our own way. Breton traditional games were a big hit, as were the animals. Opportunities to pat...More

We had a pleasant few hours here but probably better for older kids. All of the displays and the living history sessions which occur throughout the afternoon are in French. My oldest (4) was interested but the language difference meant he wasn't engaged for as...More

Quite an enjoyable afternoon, particularly the outdoor, historical games. I think I enjoyed them more than my daughter. Simple, wooden and metal games, but compelling. Not as big as Beamish or the Black Country museum but a pleasant afternoon. The English audio guide helps to...More

This is a great day out to a Breton working museum. The kids (and adults) will enjoy it. Plenty to keep everyone occupied too.

Spent a pleasant couple of hours exploring the beautifully restored village. Easy to really understand what life was like. Like other reviewers have said, you should buy some bread and gateaux de Breton, delicious!

We loved our afternoon at Poul Fetan. The staff were all charming and took time to explain everything despite their English not being perfect (likewise my French.) We loved the crepe made in the house over an open fire and then smothered in rich local...More

Our visit has been quite pleasing. The people there are really involved in their jobs and we learned a lot while we were having fun with their demonstration and their stories. The traditional games were a hit with our young girls (6, 6 and 9)....More
