Nice walk

Was told about the falls by the proprietor of the B&B we where staying at. It is quite steep coming back but worth the effort

Nice walk of an hour and a half along the river. Path in the forest and then outside the forest surrounded by mountains (the famous "bens").

You can drive and park at two separate levels for this walk. The top car park making a short flat walk to the falls. Or as we did walk up through the woods and along the crags from the town. It is a good couple of miles but was beautiful lots of wild flowers and amazing moss and lichen. The... More

It was a nice spot to go to. We enjoyed the walk, the falls are beautiful. We didn't walk the trail, we liked the bridge and it's surroundings.

After driving along Callanders main street turn at the lights next to the pink building, follow the signs for the waterfall and car park. It is then a 20 minutes walk to the falls. It is quite a strenuous walk but worth it for the views.

We were told about this place by a local in the village. It was a lovely little walk to stretch your legs and the views are fantastic for such a flat walk. The waterfalls are superb and just lying there listening to the water is very relaxing. Well worth a visit if you have a spare hour.

Bit of a walk though the scenery is lovely. The falls are not the biggest but spectacular all the same. Perfect for a sunny day picnic.

Finding the parking lot wasn't so difficult as many here mentioned but the trail is terribly marked so we accidentally got to go the other way and missed the waterfalls. A big part of it is also currently closed due to some fallen trees so if you can you might want to consider postponing your visit a wee bit. Otherwise,... More
