Free parking, labelled trees, 350million year old fossils, dog friendly, birds and squirrels that feed close to you, and trails that take you into the forest or to cross streams and lakes called ponds... you get all this at the Cyril Hart Arboretum.
This is a very good example of an arboretum, all the trees are well labelled and thriving. There are paths all the way around and lots. of benches. You can picnic there and dogs are very welcome. Lots of shade for a hot summer like...More
We have visited a few times, it is so peaceful here, the trees are beautiful and on a hot day provide a cool canopy. Well worth a visit many different species of trees and even a fossil of a tree in a rock.
