Excellent tourist area with simething for the whole family. Great walks and cycle paths , historic features, including iron mines and roman remains, unpretentious towns and villages, within easy reach of Gloucester, Bristol, Hereford and Cardiff.

The Sculpture trail, at Beechenhurst, is a great walk for kids. It's quite long, but there are short cuts back to the lodge if the children get tired. A map/guide can be bought from the café. Or RSPB Nagshead at Parkend... More
