Good. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Not so good. I watch someone wipe the table were we sat. But it wasn't clean!!! It was the full British railway experience, dirty carriages and trains running late.

Lovely volunteers who friendly and helpful were all a part of what made our visit to Mid-Norfolk Railway a great day out. As often happens with very old locomotives, one of the steam trains 'failed' and had to be replaced with a diesel service, but...More

This preserved railway is based at the disused Great Eastern Railway station, where there is a booking office, cafe, gift shop and a small historical display. Trains run most weekends. These are often made up of diesel locomotives hauling old British Rail carriages. The return...More

Not the best experience at the Dereham ticket office, I appreciate that most staff are volunteers and do their best, but surely a manager's role includes matching a person's skills and abilities to an appropriate job. Steam was advertised for the day we visited in...More

Always good and enjoyable to visit the Dereham Station, and occassionally a train ride too. Christmas is always a good train ride including Father Christmas riding along wishing all a Merry Xmas.

We had a day out in Wymondham and had visited the Abbey. The Wymondham Abbey station halt for the MNR was only a few minutes walk away and we knew a steam train was due in as we had checked their timetable. Within a few...More
