Fantastic week for the Fowey Festival; lots of walking (great walks around the area), beautiful river glimpses from Fowey, Bodinnick and Polruan. Great unspoilt area of Cornwall.

Visited for a couple of days late April. Weather cold but sunny, pleasant absence of tourists. Two excellent walks; across the river by ferry to Bodinick for the Hall Walk, returning on the Polruan passenger ferry and Readymoney - Polridmouth return. Wonderful views, bracing air...More

We started at Bath, went along the northeast from Lynmouth to Landsend, then via Lizards point back towards the New Forest - this is just one of those nice places that are worth seeing!

We walked all over this beautiful little town and the Estuary is beautiful, we were lucky with blue skies and sunshine which made this place beautiful and worth the walk around.

If you are in the area you should visit the estuary. Possibly best approached via the bodenick ferry side

What a beautiful place to stay and only a short drive to the Edan project. It was such a friendly little fishing village with everything there you need .

I've been visiting Fowey for decades, its a wonderful place whatever the season. Although I prefer it at quieter times of the year. Great walks, take the Bodinnick Ferry over to Bodinnick, walk the Hall Walk and get the foot ferry back to Fowey. Or...More

What a beautiful harbour and estuary. Nestled between the hills of Cornwall an absolute treasure of a place. Amazed at the size of ships that enter Fowey and hundred of berths for cabin and sailing craft. A must see if visiting Cornwall.
