Worth a look

If you are visiting Newcastle, you will almost certainly want to have a look at the Quayside, so you might as well have a wander over the Millenium Bridge.

We were walking across the Tyne bridges and this was the final one on our walk. A stunning bridge that sits happily alongside all the other older bridges closeby. The quayside is very pleasant to wander along.

Lovely piece of engineering. Gorgeous bridge with walking and cycling access. It is even more fabulous on a night when it is illuminated with different changing coloured lights. Even has seats on the bridge to relax and enjoy the view.

It spans between Newcastle Key Side and Gateshead, which you can take a stroll across this wonderfull structure, not to be missed if you are on... More

We Northerners enjoy a good bridge that's why we have so many. Take a walk across The Millennium Bridge at night when it changes colour the reflection in the River Tyne joins up hence the nick name the Eye.It's great!.
