About
Wyndham Park in is one of the very best in Britain - and that's official! The park's town centre location next to Grantham's Riverside Walk means it's hugely popular with visitors and local alike. It's South Kesteven District Council's aim to provide a park which is not only welcoming but safe, offering a superb range of activities and experiences to suit all ages. We have been a "Green Flag" park since 2012. This is a UK-wide mark of excellence for parks and gardens and winning the award means Wyndham Park is recognised as being amongst the best in the country. Grantham's Wyndham Park Forum and South Kesteven District Council have received support from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) and the Big Lottery Fund. The development funding is for a project aimed at restoring the park to its former glory as a First World War memorial park and be one of the district's finest assets.

Lovely family place to spend a few hours
Aug. 2021
Always enjoy our trips here. Lovely for all the family with a small water park area, tennis and table tennis facilities, park areas and gym style equipment, bowls, cafe (serving the best chunky chips!), but to name a few things to do here! Oh and definitely worth mentioning that the recent addition of an ice-cream hut makes it an even better place to go :-)

Loved all of it there is something for everyone and great for dog walking and cycling. The cafe is excellent and is next to the bowling green where you can try it out free.
Queen Elizabeth park connects to Wyndham park and provides paths into town.

Great park with good splash zone
Jun. 2021 • Family
Great little park...visited today with my 3 children aged 3,6 & 12. It was boiling so we heading the splash pad which my kids loved. We then got an ice cream from the tea rooms which was very reasonable. Toilets by the visitor centre were very clean. The parks weren't amazing but nevertheless still clean and in good condition.

Parking- there's a good sized parking area completely free we parked on the road because we weren't sure if it was free.

Worth a visit for a couple of hours fun.

Riverside stroll
Nov. 2020
I enjoyed a walk through the park on a crisp Autumnal morning. There are several features and facilities in this attractive park but I particularly liked walking by the River Witham and the model boat lake which happily transported me back to my childhood.

Nicely maintained public park, great for walks and kids and just a relaxing stroll through town along the river. Park also leads to Queen Elizabeth park further along toward Manthorpe which also follows the the river.

Town centre walk
Jun. 2020
Lovely place in the town centre to go for a walk in these challenging times, not as busy as i though it would be, also due to the weather, well worth a stroll.

I go there regularly. The playground is excellent for kids. With gym outside and tennis court they are great options to spend a few hours. Not far tea room where you can have tea, coffee, on summer months ice cream.

A lot of picnic areas, a splash area good on a hot day. Now a new exercise area for all by the river, bike hire and play areas.
