We arrived late but the ladies in reception squeezed us in on the last tour which was fascinating. The house itself was a bit bare inplaces but the site is well worth a visit. The tour is essential as Pat our guide was very knowledgable especially about Isaacs early childhood and background.

A well presented attraction with knowledgeable volunteer guides who were extremely helpful in explaining about Isaac Newton and what he contributed to the nations scientific knowledge. The ability to participate in simple tests and experiments helps understand what Isaac achieved and entertained adults and children alike. The actual farm house where he was born and lived at various times was... More

Lots of history attached to the house. Hands on science things very good for children. Small cafe and shop, (complete with cat). Very nice staff friendly and helpful. Small garden complete with the famous apple tree. Make sure you watch the short film before you go in. Good parking.

We came here yesterday. The site is rather small, but that doesn't mean that it isn't interesting. There are plenty of things to do, from visiting the book-stall and the activity centre, to going to see the famous apple tree and going round the house of Isaac Newton. I personally felt there could have been more information on the history... More

Fascinating place - to be in the home of the great scientist and to see the famous apple tree! Lots of interesting scientific demonstrations going on whilst we were there - we could have stayed longer if it had been open longer. The staff on hand were incredibly helpful and informative. Small café on site.

We recently visited Woolsthorpe Manor and were pleasantly surprised. As members of the National Trust we have visited many properties, this is one that we had yet to visit. The birthplace and home of Sir Isaac Newton still has the original apple tree in the small orchard where he discovered gravity. He made many other discoveries during his time here... More

Having seen the reviews on trip advisor I was keen to make my own mind up on sir Isaac Newtons home. We found the place very informative about his early life the volunteers had a great knowledge and are very eager to help you learn. I found the small cafe to be very cheap in comparison to some places a... More
