This is a gem of a place. Helpful and knowledgeable staff, great interactive exhibits, and a wonderful tour of the house. If you are at all interested in Newton, or science, then go! We saw the actual prism, in Newton's study, that he used for...More

Great visit to the legend that was and is Sir Isaac Newton. Whilst the tour was enjoyable and thorough in what scientific discoveries were made in his time at the manor, we were not able/permitted to wander the homes rooms durning the tour, which made...More

Lovely peaceful setting, interesting house and content. Lovely afternoon visit but not really an all day place. My 7 year old grandson found the science experiments fascinating.

Not a big place, so limited numbers at some times. Contact them to check before setting out. It's an odd mixture of 17th century social history, science museum style exhibition and activities, a famous apple tree, and Isaac Newton. My wife really took to the...More

A great place to visit for all the family for both the history and the scientific side. There is the science "barn" if you like where the cafe is that is full of interactive activities to aid learning too. Sadly even though we visited in...More

We spent a good 2 hours looking around the house and garden as well as visiting the exhibits. Would be good for children that wanted to learn about some basic physics. Parking was easy and we walked to the local church where Newton had carved...More

Immaculately kept as is usual with NT. Fascinating insight into one of our most famous genius scientists. Nice cafe too!

It's historic importance is the main reason to visit. The science activities are the best bit. We went on Apple day, but I prefer it on normal days. Prices seemed higher than I remember; not much change from £20 for two adults and one child.

The story of Isaac Newton told in the orchard on a nice summers day was a lovely treat. Good history in the beautiful British countryside.

Visted en route to our holiday in Yorkshire. We thought we would only be here a short while as the property didn't look very big but we stayed over 2 hours! So interesting and although we had heard of Sir Isaac Newton, and the falling...More

Best to ring them before setting off. We went earlier this year and they had guided tours. They might have more going on as Summer approaches but always best to ring ahead and check.

Yes there is a taxi outside of the station but it will cost approximately £20 from Grantham to the manor. Get a bus if you can as the bus station is walking distance from the train station.
