Fantastic family day out as always when we visit Parndon Wood. Free parking, friendly, helpful staff. Excellent trail, clear, clean. Beautiful woodland. Great craft activities.

There's a nice 30-45 mins walk through the woods along the main route. The trail is reasonably wide, but the ground is uneven in places so would recommend that those with very young children avoid pushchairs where possible (unless they are decent off-raiders). We used...More

We LOVE visiting here. Great for the children to get outdoors and back to nature. Building dens, walking, discovering and art and craft. Then a nice snack and coffee and or picnic at the visitor centre.

Only guide dogs are allowed in the nature reserve as there are lots of deer and other small mammals etc calling this home.
