Wonderful micropub, with the best selection of ciders I’ve come across in years. Only in the area for the weekend, so didn’t have time to sample all 15! Very friendly and helpful staff. Only suggestion to improve would be offering 1/3 pint paddles to help...More

It's something different, nice atmosphere to sit in and chat to friends good selection of beers there is always something you will like, friendly staff, love the decor, walls have to be studied, re cycling rules here and the gents toilets are a great example...More

we went in to the pestle and mortar with some friends for a drink. I have to say the landlady was very friendly and polite the drinks are nearly all £3.00 a pint and every body that came in to this pub was very friendly...More

Lovely place, great variety of drinks and a good atmosphere! Very happy that this is our new local. Recommend the elderberry wine and the Old Rosie rhubarb cider :)

This place is an oasis that you could miss if you blink!! Its an old shop thats been converted into a vintage retro bar. The atmosphere is great with no music so everyone can talk to each other and its always been busy every time...More
