As has previously been stated the option to stroll round this beautiful garden is no longer an option. Progress? Maybe not sadly.

Was a special place and spectacular day in the garden. When in Scotland a must visit. The staff of the house is absolutely accommodating friendly and will do everything for you. It was a trip that we will never forget.

Whether you are able to visit is another matter altogether. I was part of a large "coach" group granted access in August and we were shown around with charm and hospitality. New owner Mr Donald Fothergill has repaired the house, top to bottom, and taken the garden back to plan. The full story is printed up in "Country life" magazine... More

Sadly following the sale of Kinross House the gardens are now closed to the public , Hopefully there will be developements once the new owner is settled In the past the gardens were a quiet treat to walk round with a lot of herbaceous borders I will be keeping my fingers crossed

Just returned from walking to the Kinross House Gardens. The house has been sold and the new owner has closed it to the public. There are no more tours or anyone allowed on the grounds. You can however rent the place for 25,000 pounds a day (or so we were told).

The state has recently been sold and is undergoing extensive building works. Unsure if it will reopen to the public in the future or at all

The usual garden and house or Castle day out, at least they all have something different to offer as in history etc. Worth the visit!
