A lovely circular walk with great views of Loughborough. With Bradgate park and Beacon hill nearby, the outwoods gets easily overlooked. Lots of old and interesting trees, wildlife and geology. It is muddy and hilly though.
Only been there once, did get a little off track at some points, due to the path being extremely muddy. However is a great place to take the dogs for a walk, due to parking only being a pound all day. Would go again.
From the football/cricket ground on Nanpantan road you can walk up the fields on the footpath into the corner of the outwoods and then walk all through it. You then have the same walk back so get on them there walking boots
