Really excellant traditional food. Everything cooked on the premises, locally sourced, in the most welcoming family pub we have ever found. Very good real ales and wines (free house) beside the fire where the regulars make new faces welcome as much as do the owners.

Good value tasty Sunday roast. We appreciated the large vegetable portions and cauliflower cheese was a nice touch. Friendly service and the kids really appreciated using the pool table for free.

Good welcome by bar staff. Really friendly lady behind the bar. The food was excellent, good choice for small pub. Served piping hot. Well priced and good portions. Would recommend a visit.

Nice steak and a pint of Guinness, they didn't mind us taking the dog into the bar. Locals were pleasant
