We visit Tavistock regularly and often take a wonder through the pannier market, even though it rarely changes. There's a large selection of stalls with a huge variety of goods on offer from pet supplies, gardening tools, homeware, second hand books, fashion items... the list goes on. Inside the market there's a couple of food stalls but we enjoy heading... More

After visiting quite few markets during our week holiday, this was the best one! Lots of variety and some very lovely handmade products. Lots of stalls and friendly sales people. Easy to walk round with a Pushchair and places to eat and drink surrounding it, all under cover so a good wet weather activity.

It's so rare to find a thriving market like this. A square with loads of little stores and cafes around the outside and cool artesian shops. I liked it. Couldn't find any panniers though.
