Had a lovely time. We went on a guided tour that was really interesting . The guide was great, he made it so interesting and fun. The cafe was really nice with lovely staff and fabulous cream teas. I would really recommend a visit.

Had a great day out, kids enjoyed an Easter egg hunt and the huge tree house play area. Staff really friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the house and about the Civil War.

As mentioned, dogs are welcome on leads, except in the café or house (assistance dogs only). According to the leaflet, if you don't clean up after your dog you may be put in the stocks!
