We visited here for half a day when in the area. It is well sign posted but it is down narrow lanes. Once in you go to a muster point when you can go on a tour which are every hour. We had no problem getting on one but then we did the last tour at four o clock. The... More

Situated on the edge of the M54, on the outskirts of Wolverhampton, Moseley Old Hall provides a glimpse back in time. This National Trust site has certainly played it's part, in England's rich historic past. Our tour guide Pat was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of this well preserved building and the goings on within it, which has genuinely contributed... More

As national trust members we love this place being on our doorstep. We came Easter Sunday for the egg trail and my 8yr old had a lot of fun looking for clues that led to her prize egg at the end. Besides the house there's beautiful woodland walks with things to do for the kids such as the mud kitchen,... More

As National Trust members it never occurred to me that there could be a place as great as this so close to home. If you're looking for a place with an interesting history, enthusiastic staff/volunteers, nice grounds and a place for kids to be kids then look no further. We spent around four hours there on a fairly busy Bank... More

Our boys are usually bored by manor houses but Moseley Old Hall is very different with so many friendly and well informed volunteers bringing the history to life . The Cadbury Egg hunt also kept them well occupied while the "oldies" enjoyed a coffee in the tea rooms. We'd never been before but will now recommend a visit to all... More

If your interested in history then this house has an amazing story to tell. The house and grounds are not very big but the attitude of the staff make up for it. They are very friendly and informative and tell the story of King Charles ll in great detail as you progress room to room. Some staff wear costumes of... More

Super place! The furniture is in keeping with the property, it has a homely and historic feel with very knowledgeable volunteers. Don't forget to venture into the loft to see the fascinating structure of the building at close hand. Lovely coffee shop with yummy homemade food.

One of the best National trust properties that we have visited. It has such an interesting story behind it, Charles 11 hid here after the battle of Worcester. The story was brought to life by brilliant guide, Cathy. Her enthusiasm made me want to read more about this period in history. The grounds are lovely with a great tree house... More
