We enjoyed a visit to the museum and viewed the exhibits at our leisure the staff were welcoming and the small gift shop provided the mementoes we thought were suitable for our grandchildren. We often pop into the museum when in town to view any new exhibitipns they have arranged.

Wonderful that this is still free to the public. Thoughtfully curated displays representing Worthing's past, from fishing village onwards. There are also temporary exhibitions, which when we visited was a costume display. The shop features local artists.

The Museum was lovely, but a lot smaller than the website suggested. However, it was free and we enjoyed most aspects of it. I would have to say that the art gallery was strange and the prices ludicrous. The lady on Reception when we arrived was not at all friendly and looked at me like I'd lost my marbles when... More

A great place to while away an hour or two or pick up some different gifts. Just remember it is closed on Mondays.

When I was at Primary School in Worthing, and later at Secondary school, the Museum was a regular haunt - I had a thirst for knowledge. After while, though, I felt that I was seeing identical displays all the time - nothing seemed to change. Even the Art Gallery seemed static for years. Well - that was 50-55 years ago... More
