Although the garden itself is quite beautiful in parts, and the views of the wider landscape beyond it are gorgeous, I found it a difficult garden to like. I visited yesterday, with my husband and elderly mother-in-law, who is in fact more mobile than me....More

We were lucky enough to coincide our visit to the are with one of the open days. The gardens are truly magnificent and well worth spending a couple of pleasurable hours.

We were simply blown away by the colour and beauty of these gardens. Whilst the walled garden is probably the top attraction, it is well worth walking down to the stumpery and other formal gardens. Interesting to see how well the inter planting of flowers...More

At least a couple of hours required to browse around. Good place to eat in the self service cafeteria. All areas very well maintained and a decent children's play area.
