Although the church is undergoing some building work it is still worth making the effort to visit. Enter by a door at the side.

A beautiful large Priory church not far from the castle. It has many interesting features, a lovely walk through the churchyard and often holds musical recitals, often at lunch times, which are high quality. Ensure you make time for this jewel, you will be delighted.

By chance we visited this eleventh century church on the edge of Chepstow town. It's well cared for and worth a visit. Where ever I visit I like to light a candle in memory of loved ones.

Stumbled upon the church when walking off high street. What a gem! Doorway arches stunning, mix of old And new inside as you can tell there is a community that cares and use their church. Free entrance

We didn't go inside the church because it was so late, just wandered around in the graveyard. So peaceful and one almost feel a little sacred when wander among so old tombstones and around the old church . Will definitely visit again to see the inside to.

worthwhile visiting for the entrance alone, a magnificent example of a norman arch. The victorians nocked it about a bit but some fine tombs and a very old working clock.

Having tried to visit the night before but finding the front door locked, found on the next day thet the entrance was actually to the side of the church (no directions). Well kept church, shame there were so many rubbish bags around making it difficult to take photos without an orange bag being in the picture or a broom and... More

The St. Mary's Church is a place not be missed for its beautiful architecture, the doorway, the beautiful tombs inside and other architectural elements that are very well explained in the brochures that you can find at the entrance.
