Wine awful, charged £1 to use a card. Unfriendly bar staff. Couple next to us saying same things. Not a pleasant atmosphere in the bar. Ok if you have kids that you can watch in the fountains and can drink horrible wine. Could be fantastic...More
Found this pub when we walked down to the harbour - it was clean, welcoming and they had a highchair for our granddaughter. We ordered fish and chips which were delicious, crispy batter and perfectly cooked. Very enjoyable.
Real Ale lovers, you are in luck - Kent is famous for the hops it produces and you can enjoy their work in a perfect pint of.... John Smiths bitter (you can order a different beer, they haven't got any, but you can try anyway!)....More
