The park is beautifully maintained and allows access to the beach (Sandgate beach) where dogs are allowed off the leash, even in the summer - not the case further along.

Well maintained and beautiful venue. Combines the glory of the sea with lovely landscaping and plants. A great place for walking or taking the kids. BBQ space, play park, amphitheatre, wonderful views, space. I’d definitely recommend a stroll through here.

This place has a great layout but beware, we got stuck on a narrow road as we all filed in and out of a car park, stressed out parking attendant told us the car park had been full since 9am, we got there at 2pm!...More

Lovely place to wander at any time, close by the sea but not overpowered by it, flowers, trees, space, a children's adventure playground and the Mermaid Cafe. Who could wish for more?

This is a beautiful place for families. It's mainly shaded from the sun with a lot of trees around. Various play areas for all ages & only a stone throw away from the gorgeous folkestone beach for a paddle or swim. Also it's Free!!!

I’m afraid the main playground wouldn’t be suitable for young children. There is a smaller playground, which I’d presume was designed for younger children, however there’s no age restrictions and older kids also play there.

when we went there were a lot of barbecue zones and bits of kit so I really doubt you need to (or even can) prebook but it was not obvious how the kit would work and most people we saw barbecuing had brought their own stuff... More
