Went on the last pie n pea walk, brilliant. Great walk with lots of people (dogs welcome) then back to the pub for homemade proper pie and peas with roast potatoes. Dogs, children, horses etc all welcome. Can’t wait to revisit.

Have "found" this pub after my son moved into the area.Excellent,friendly bar staff,great choice of very well kept beer( try Timothy Taylor).The home made pies are superb.Dog friendly.Cannot think of one negative about The George.
