We spent a day traveling on the heritage railway and enjoyed it very much. The staff were friendly, however the coaching stock was a little tired.

Excellent coffee and cake whilst watching the steam trains. Lovely little cafe on this wonderfully preserved station, on the seafront at Minehead. A fabulous day out for young & young at heart.

As noted there are lots of nice places in MInehead. I'd recommend the Wheelhouse Cafe, 5 min walk from station. Also the cafe on the seafront is OK for the basics.
