We've been to many shows and meals at the Watermill and always enjoyed them, some occasions more than others as is to be expected. Our evening at Trial by Laughter was, sorry to say, a disappointment. Starter buffet good as always. Vegetarian moussaka of £5...More

A small, intimate and friendly theatre. The talent and creativity of the actor/musicians and the set designers is amazing.

It is a wonderful little theatre where you sit close to the action. The only advice I would give to make sure you can see well in my opinion, is not to sit in the slips. You have to sit very forward to look over...More

Saw Trial by Laughter last week, play was quite good, excellent lead actor, the theatre, as always, cosy and full of atmosphere.

We went to see the last matinee of Sweet Chariot. Oh what a joy. We love this theatre and commend it for relentless brilliant productions. This was no exception, such a talented young cast, thank you for an afternoon of joyous entertainment.

I agree with other reviews in that seating is very cramped and uncomfortable but it’s the nature of the theatre and it’s history I guess. However, there should have been no excuse for my meal which left a lot to be desired, most disappointing. The...More

Went to see Sweet Charity which we thought was great fun - a very multi-talented cast and an outstanding performance from the main character. The seats are a little close together and a bit uncomfortable but that really goes with the territory of a very...More

We attended the production of Sweet Charity. Desperately uncomfortable seating and an enthusiastic cast but a paper thin narrative. Deeply boring, we left at the interval and were not the only car driving out at that stage.

There is ample parking for the Theatre. For disabled drivers, book a space immediately to the front of the car park. There is an overspill car park used which is less than 100 metres from the theatre. If you have a disabled... More
