First the car park. My husband and daughter both have disabled badges, but can walk short distances. We were surprised that we had to pay for parking. Secondly children under 3 go free, but my grandson, who I had to pay full price for, is 3 and a half, with an attention span of 3 and a half minutes. I... More

The sealife center is really good for familys and small children as they'res a lot of activites to do while walking around ect. The lil cafe is clean and sells basic foods (sandwiches, burgers, paninis hot and cold drinks and light bites) the gift shop has a very wide selection of things to purchase. :)

A good selection of fish and animals to be seen, my favourite being the Penguins! There were lots of facts to be learnt and i was surprised at how much Sealife does in terms of rescuing and rehabilitating many different species, particularly seals. I would visit a Sealife centre again in the next couple of years, mainly to support their... More

I regularly visit the Sea Life Centre here in Scarborough but am disappointed with the poor access for pushchairs (and wheelchairs). As I have a baby (along with a 2 year old) I have no other way of safely transporting my son other than in a pushchair. Parents/carers are asked to leave their pushchairs at the entrance but that is... More

I have visited this place many times, and it is ideal when the weather is less than pleasant. May l recommend the crazy golf? Even when its raining, its still a great laugh. The penguin section is also great. Rico the penguin is a crowd pleaser!!!! Callum was great too, very knowledgeable and pleasant. He gave the visit the edge-... More

Book your tickets online before you go and save some money not worth the £18 if you just turn up on the day

1. Plan your visit and buy tickets online beforehand. They are half the way-over-the-top on-the-door price. 2. Use Google 'Popular Times' to help you avoid the mad rush, currently around midday. It's the only way I can think of to do that; ingress and egress is very poorly controlled and the bottleneck caused by the optional photo booth, which you... More

Our 4 year old wanted to hold a crab, stroke a starfish and perhaps a ray. Nothing. She touched a sea anemone and saw a plastic starfish. Not what we were expecting at all. Glad we hadn't paid the walk-in price.
