Despite living in this area, I have driven past without appreciating fully what lay hidden just a few hundred yards from the main Filey - Scarborough road. The various collections of fairground rides, shows, bike , cars and amusements are fascinating nd restored/maintained to the highest of standards. A lovely walk down memory lane!

Was spending a weekend in Scarborough and saw this place on the top 10 things to do and decided we would pay it a visit. Was just a short drive away. What a lovely time we had there. Really enjoyed seeing all the exhibits and we had a few chats with the owner who was a very nice man and... More

Brilliant few hours at the Scarborough Fair Collection taking us back to our youth, especially my 90 year old dad. Due to the time of the year all the rides weren't available to go on at the same time but staggared. I could imagine in the summer it would become very busy but well worth the visit. It was also... We went here with a little scepticism with it being placed on a caravan site. We had the best day.. It is basically a few large warehouses jam packed with Fairground rides fro the past.. you can buy tokens from the reception and young kids ride free. There is a lovely café area which also houses a stage. The large... More

Our friends who live locally to this attraction; decided to take us for a visit, they had been perviously and throughly enjoyed it. We arrived on a Wednesday, and the winter opening times were in operation, we arrived one hour early, no problem - made to feel welcome. Wednesday was Tea Dance day, 13.00hrs to 16.00hrs, so the venue was... More

This has been on my list of places to visit for a while now, but I kept putting it of because I expected it to be a poky little place with a couple of old rides in it. How wrong I was! Loads of stuff there - classic fairground stuff, traction engines, old amusement machines, vintage bikes, vintage card and... More

Would definitely recommend this place. The staff were lovely and found the price to get in very reasonable. Not sure if it was because it was the end of the season but nothing was on and not much atmosphere . Did ask a member of staff if anything worked and was told ' Yes we just get fed up hearing...
