Had been meaning to visit for several years and wish we'd done it sooner. This is a charity which is open to the public with no entrance fee but there are a couple of buckets for donations. Good car parking and paths to walk around. The donkeys come over to the fences for a stroke and there is also a... More

We did visit on a rainy day, but did feel signage was very poor, so we struggled to find our way around and see what was going on.

A great place to go, lots to see, donkeys to stroke, the staff were amazing and a real credit to the place, wonderful for children and adults alike, amazing that the place is free, definitely go if you are near the area and also help support the sanctuary by donating or buying items in the shop.

Used to visit every year as a child with my parents - this is back in the late 70's early 80's it was my mum's favourite place - so to be able to visit again with my granddaughter some 30+ years later and see the transformation was magical. Granddaughter had a magical time with all the different characters and for... More

Just look up how badly Donkeys can be treated, then if your in the area of a sanctuary please take a visit, it's free. The place lights up your day. Parking plentiful, refreshments available. A true insight into the plight and help you can provide for this friendly of creatures.

Grand Daughter is now old enough to enjoy the delights of the Donkeys we take her there early in the morning so she can see them all eating their Hay from the troughs and shout "Eat " at them they don't seem to mind. Lots of building works being done but still access the Donkeys. A trip to Devon must... More

Wonderful to see the donkeys and how well they are loved and looked after. Great to have left the Sanctuary having adopted beautiful Ruby. Well worth a visit and walk round. Wonderful grounds and work done by the Sanctuary.

Well laid out, would have liked a better sandwich in the cafe, my cheese was shredded which was messy and fungal.
