The lakes is an amazing place with a lot of ground and a couple of very large lakes! The wildlife are friendly as swans and geese could be, with a. Cute little cafe perfect for a pit stop on the way around the lakes.

Although close to the A1 and Welwyn Garden City it is a nice place to walk around the lake. Lots of ducks, moorhens, geese and swans also enjoy the venue, and its nice to watch the water activities - sailing etc that go on there.

Nice on a dull day and even nicer on a good day. Pleasant walk around the lake and good family venue for whiling away time.

Our grandsons had a great time rowing around for an hour - good value for £20 - they voted it the best bit of their stay with us and we did several other trips out.

The Dragon is big enough for at least 4 adults. I think it can carry more people, but maybe they don't allow it for safety reasons.
