I go to the rink to watch Ice Hockey. The facilities are appalling, especially for disabled people. The floor is uneven and lifting in places, which is a trip hazard. The seats provided are very low, and there is a free-for-all for space when it’s...More
Whilst the skating experience is great, and there's nothing bad to say about the staff, the facilities within the building are like something out of the dark ages. Whilst I can understand the catering facilities being limited, there is no excuse at all for the...More
It’s great, lots of fun.
But...... before you go, check on line for deals, it can save you loads of cash.
The people at the front desk never warned us and it cost me £30 more and then they defended their right to not tell...More
This place is very basic and functional with no frills. It does what is says on the tin for a reasonable price. The cafe, with its very limited menu, was crowded and definitely there was not enough tables and chairs and this is an area...More
Visited the Altrincham Ice Arena this afternoon for the Rev Pro/NJPW Strong Style Evolved UK. The event itself was fantastic, some brilliant matches and the fans were really into it.

The Ice Rink is located exactly opposite the train station which makes it a quick 2 minute walk across the bridge and into the rink - perfect for rainy days. Another plus is that there are lockers available for storing items (£1 per 3 hours)...More
Cheap skate Wednesday's!! Was brilliant had a lot of fun. Easy to get on and off the ice, plenty of staff around to help out with anything. My friend fell and a staff member helped out and gave confidence to get back on the ice....More
Went to the Varsity match between Manchester Metro and Leeds Griffins. Great match and if you've never watched an ice hockey match then you should, fast, agile and sometimes brutal times.
The only downside is the dated bar and food service. One person serving up...More
