Very pleasant easy walking, well signed and good for a short family walk to fill a morning or afternoon. Nice little cafe at the bottom of the hill.

There are a selection of walks of different lengths and challenges. I have done them all. Super. Picnic tables all around. Great time out.

We walked the Cambus O'May red trail this morning. This is a lovely and gentle walk through the forest. There were some lovely views along the trail. We even saw a very large nest, the largest I have ever seen. A very nice walk indeed.

Good mountain bike routes through the forest. The routes would seem to have enough challenges for all but the most extreme bikers. We hired our bikes from Cycle Highland in Ballater who were very helpful.
