This park has everything. Walks, water, hotel and restaurant. We go frequently the dog loves it. It's hard to keep him out of the water.

We walk the dog here each week. Nice and clearly laid out park and free parking too which is great. The cafe serves nice snacks and a decent coffee.

We walk most weekends away on decided on Priory Country Park. Firstly the parking is good but soon filled up. There are many trails to explore, some very muddy this time of year but you can do a lap around the lake on a hard surface. Also there is a café onsite that looks tidy we only had a soft... More

I'm lucky enough to live next door to the park and I walk round the lake most days. The wildlife, especially the birds are numerous and I often see Kingfishers, which is always a thrill. Sunrises across the lake are beautiful. There is also a new cafe by the lake which I have visited only once...it was ok, still finding... More

This is a lovely park, great place to walk your dogs [mine used to love the "beach" effect at the end of the lake and would love to paddle] Its beautiful in the Spring and Summer with lots of quiet places amongst the busier areas which attract lots of families. So much for everyone to do and so good to... More

Good country park to walk in all weathers, with lots of wildlife either by the lake or river. Small play area to entertain children. New tea rooms offer good snacks and drinks in a friendly and warm environment .

Go there occasionally for a stroll around the lake. Takes about 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. There are areas at the sde, such as the 'finger lakes' to explore. At one end there's a slalom run (canoes) but I've only ever seen one event, and theres a marina at the other end for mooring boats. Car parking is plentiful.... More

There's something for everyone here. Serene walks around the finger lakes where you can watch the wildlife. Longer walk around the big lake on gravelled paths suitable for buggies and wheelchairs, where you can windsurf and fish. Log built adventure playground with a small zip-wire. Loads of space for kite-flying, ball games, dog walking, picnics. Beefeater restaurant and Travelodge hotel... More
