This a lovely rural theatre , well worth a visit. The quality of the sets, and acting , belies its location. It's a nice compact venue, comprising tiered seating, which ensures everyone has a great view. The seats are very comfortable and have the added benefit , of under seat heating if needed in the colder weather. There is a... More

Visited Friday with the grandchildren for a magical time. The theatre being small, there is an intimate atmosphere and easy audience interaction. Sadly, though, I suffer from extremely dry eyes and there was a smoke machine belting out clouds of the stuff - even before the performance began. Much as I love the theatre this will stop me going in... More

Had a very pleasant and enjoyable experience at the Sharnbrook Mill theatre last night. We watched the opening night am dram of Ben Elton's play of Silly Cow. The theatre is set in a v pleasant rural setting next to a weir stroke river.( Best place I suppose for an old working mill. )You can go for a walk beforehand... More

Excellent value for money at this venue which is operated by an amateur charity group but which produces professional and superb entertainment. Give it a try !

Set beside the River Great Ouse, The Mill is in an idyllic landscape. Regular productions of plays and musicals to an exceptionally high and award-winning, standard, The Mill is rightly extremely popular. Friendly and welcoming, and open to all, it's well worth sampling the wonders of The Mill. ***** 5 stars!

Always a great experience, whatever the production. The cast put their all into every production and the result is wonderful and often emotional. The intimate seating area and great sets enhance the atmosphere and it is lovely to enjoy a drink before the shows looking out on to the river view.

Have been many times to see various musicals which have all been excellent and enjoyable. The cast are all amateurs, but the production is professional. The theatre is small and intimate; in fact if you sit near the front you are almost on-stage - which can certainly add to the atmosphere. Staff are friendly and a bar serves pre-performance and... I've seen many school shows at this very lovely quaint theatre, it's so small that you really do feel a bug part of the performances etc. and good parking too.
