We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a nice statue, in the main street in Bedford, very photogenic, and well worth a visit, if your in the area.

I went to the unveiling years ago. The faces light up at night. The brick and lace details are beautiful. Would have been cool of they could have been placed a couple of metres further apart, so that you could properly walk through them

Costing ÂŁ100,000 Reflections of Bedford was controversial not only because of its price but an alleged lack of consultation with the local community prior to its unveiling in 2009. The work of sculptor Rick Kirby it comprises two large five-foot high stainless steel sculptures facing each other and is said to represent both the diversity of ethnic backgrounds in the city and its history of producing bricks and lace. I like the effect of looking through the sculpture towards those shopping in the street beyond; also the juxtaposition between it and the more conventional sculpture namely the bust of Trevor Huddleston on a plinth facing it. At night it lights up.

These look very much like the sculpture in Wigan only difference is there are 2 faces instead of 1. I like them but do not know the significance

I love this sculpture. Two faces looking at each other. They were created to show different cultures uniting.

They are quite striking as you go past on the High Street.

The monuments and statues in Bedford are historic by nature but the anomaly is Reflections of Bedford. It purports to symbolise the town’s history of brick manufacturing and lacemaking with nods towards the location it today can be found: Silver Street. Instead, I’m perplexed as to how this is represented in two half-moon shaped faces with more of an appearance of a ram’s horns than anything else. Odd.

Strange sculpture, which does not really attract much interest.
I would have thought it would have been better off being sited in a park rather than at the end of a shopping area.

This piece of artwork is unfinished as the 'back' which faces into town is plain. If sculpture is to be appreciated then it should be design for its location and with the undecorated rear it lacks gravitas.

I call them the waxing and waning Bedford for this piece of sculpture looks from the rear as though it is a representation of the moons phases.

A poor piece.

Maybe if the two heads were repositioned back to back, or even with a gap between splitting the two heads it would provide a better representation and some unity.
