Always a good time filler (1 hour is normally the max. for us). Right on the High Street (opposite the War Memorial). Friendly Staff.

The museum is a nice addition and contrast if you were to be visiting the other two museums very close by. It's small but informative. My only complaint was that there seemed to be lots of interesting skeletons that weren't labeled, which was a shame....More

Took my grandsons here on the same day we visited the castle over the road during the Summer holiday. There was enough to capture their interest as part of a short visit and I thought it was pitched perfectly to the primary school age group...More

Amaze balls, free to get in brilliant little treasure. Staff were brilliant soooo friendly she's a delight. Great little gift shop which was great value for money, a right little gem.

I have taken my children to this venue in the past and they are now in their forties. I now take my grandchildren but it seems to have not changed in all those years. Really needs an update.

No, it's a small museum in a former church. However, there are several within a short walk.
