Divided into two areas as well as continents. The first well maintained. manicured and extremely professionally laid out. The second a bit more 'crowded'. The walled garden is enjoyable to stroll along. The fish pond is a surprise, when you stand to view - the...More

Visited here on a hot sunny day. Greeted by friendly helpful staff. Walked amongst walled 2 acre garden, lakes with large fish (fish food available) , bridges, trees, war memorial, geese & their many goslings(!). Easy walking on good surfaces. Cafe available, lovely clean toilets.

Great woodlands to wander through. The walled garden is gorgeous and the hornbeam mini maze was a surprise. Lovely birches across the pond.

I have seen the signs often when passing but this was my first visit. Low key marketing had not made an impact. The grounds are a contrast to the open fileds around being full of specimen trees, running water and changing vistas. Lovely place for...More

Fabulous walks to be had and great walled garden with contemporary planting. The café is also a welcome haven when returning from a hearty walk.
