Tried to get in here a few times but they are not open every weekend. Was worth the wait however. They have a good collection of local buses plus cars and other military vehicles. The displays are well thought out and informative. Definitely worth making a special trip for.

My young son loves cars and buses etc, for £4 we spent hours here. All the vehicles inside (and there are lots to look at) are excellently restored and give a great sense of nostalgia. There are also models and army memorabilia, but model ships and old seeing machines and bicycles to look at too. It doesn't sound much but... More

We arrived Sunday to visit Wartime weekend with Murphy (our black lab) Was made very welcome as soon as we arrived on the car park. No problem with Murphy taking him in the museum with everybody so friendly. Was able to go in the workshop to see restorations etc. Very interesting visit plus a fantastic nostalgic ride on a 1955... Came here this morning with my daughter and granddaughter on a educational trip. We were split into two groups of about 12-15 and given a guide per group. This place is not the biggest transport museum and probably half the exhibits are buses. Much of what I saw reminded me of growing up in the 60's and related my memories... More

I have been to visit this museum before and had a really nice day out so I had arranged to go again. I checked the website and it had a list of open days and said that if you went on a Saturday between 11-3 you could just have a walk round. I arrived at 11 on Saturday morning and... More

Victoria this is truly awful and I would like to apologise. We do struggle getting enough volunteers to help at weekends and most folk who turn up have come to work on their vehicles and are perhaps not the best equipped to give guided tours. How ever I would be pleased if you were to contact us to arrange a... More

This isn't the biggest museum I have ever visited but I nonetheless had a most enjoyable time. A well laid museum housing a fantastic collection of local significance.

Visited this attraction for the first time today with a child with a learning disability, not the biggest of transport museums but the friendliness of the staff made up for this.we were shown around by Kevin who couldn't do enough for the child I had taken. The exhibits brought back many memories of my younger years, buses, cars, motorcycles and army... More

FABULOUS. Hired to take our guests from wedding at town hall to our function, took us on a tour around Sheffield first, the bus had ribbons in our chosen colour, certainly brought back happy memories, would recommend to anyone, Thank you so much for helping make our day very special
