Café here has good homemade food, and the prices are very good. Gets busy at the weekends though. The view is amazing, there were seals on the beach and you can see all the way to Norfolk.

we decided to cycle down to the nature reserve at Gibraltar point a mere three and a half miles from the centre of Skegness. what we didn't take into account was the rather strong wind blowing off the sea on this particular day, needless to say we really enjoyed the refreshments at the new visitors centre.

We took our little ones for a walk around the nature reserve today, it was great seeing the birds and the black sheep on one of the paths, we spotted lots of snails and slugs as it was raining. The kids enjoyed jumping in puddles and then back to the brand new cafe / information centre for coffee and cake!... More

Been for another relaxing walk around the nature reserve and although a portion of the beach is now closed to the public because of the breeding season it's still a lovely quiet place to listen to the numerous skylarks that sing around the marshes

Revisiting Gibraltar Point after a year away was a refreshing break away from the hustle and bustle of life. The nature reserve has been given some child friendly signs which made the walk exciting for smaller visitors. Great to see a large flock of avocets. The hides were clean and lots to see from them. A beautiful place to be.... More

We were lucky with the weather and had a great walk round the signed route. Although we didn't, use the cafe it was very busy and the food and cakes looked good

It took a while to be served and whilst the food was lush they did manage to forget a key component for 3 orders and miss something altogether on another order. This was discussed with the manager who happily offered a refund. We did manage a scoot around the reserve which is well managed. I like getting information about sightings... More
