Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My partner came here to see Most Haunted Live and thoroughly enjoyed it. As you can see by the photo he had a brilliant view of the stage and said the whole experience was fantastic. Staff here are very friendly and couldn’t do enough for him. Always something good going on here, very highly recommended.

A friend mentioned Cheesey Bingo, never heard of it but thought it would be a great way to spend a girls night out. Venue is in a great location. Loads of parking round the back. Drinks reasonably priced. Staff friendly and toilets clean! The main stage area had all the tiered seating pushed back and rows of table were laid out in rows. The bingo is hosted by 2 funny, charismatic and entertaining hosts. You play 1 game of bingo for either a line or a full house and the prizes are huge inflatables. Sounds naff, but by the end of the 1st game all that matters is that you want to win a HUGE inflatable :-) Lots of cheesey pop songs played throughout and you're encouraged to dance and copy dance moves. After every game there's a chance to dance to maybe 5-8 songs, get a drink, toilet break etc. The whole atmosphere is like a huge girls night out, there were a few token men there too. Its the most hilarious event and if you love to laugh, dance, sing and have a fabulous night I would highly recommend this

We happened to be in Skegness for the ‘Comeback Cabaret Return To Live’ show… the first live show since 2019. It was the first time we’ve been in the Embassy Theatre. And what a lovely theatre it is! Everyone was really spaced out and we felt very safe.
It was such an emotional show. Everyone was so happy to be there and watch a live show again. I cried on more than one occasion! The singers, from West End shows, we’re amazing. The highlight of the night was dancing and singling along to the ABBA songs at the end. What a night! Thank you to everyone who made it happen.

The theatre has notices stating that video recording is forbidden. I saw Rumours of Fleetwood Mac last week and my view of the band was repeatedly disturbed by the person in front of me shooting around 20 video clips in her phone.
So my question to theatre management is, why have a policy and not enforce it? All it takes is a simple announcement before the show begins.
Either take down the notices, or enforce the policy. It really is as simple as that.

Unfortunately after we encountered a problem we attempted to seek help from the front of house manager who was not very helpful. We would like to express our huge thankyou to an amazing lady called Wendy who listened to our issue and responded and solved it promptly. Wendy is a huge credit to the Embassy Theatre. So polite and helpful. She is the reason we will continue to return to the Embassy. Thankyou once again Wendy xxx

The show was phenomenal. Parking was easy. The staff were great. The place was clean. The seating was AWFUL metal framed seats with hardly any padding. I was looking forward to the next visit but now I'm not. All the people that say around us said the same. Children seats.

Nice venue not as busy as I expected it to be, it had a couple of hen dos going on who really got into the swing of things, they didn’t sit down all night. We paid £25 each for the gold experience and if I’m honest it wasn’t worth the money. The lad that served us was great and looked after us though.

We have watched many pantomimes over the years and this is by far the worst pantomime I have ever seen. The actors playing Jack & Jill were heavily let down by the poor sound quality, budget MDF set and cheap basic costumes. The theatre had no atmosphere, as the audience were not encouraged to join in for the whole first half. It didn't help that their wasn't a live band! Only three dancers on stage for the majority of the time, made the stage look empty! The theatre Itself is a tin hut!Basic, budget, fell flat, very disappointed!!!!! We will be returning to Lincoln or Newark for a true authentic pantomime experience, in a beautiful theatre!

went to see Jim Davison and really enjoyed it lovely to be back again. only disappointment was that there was no seating in foyer for interval and before show and we couldnt get an icecream which is part of the experience of going to theatre, maybe they were selling behind the bar but queue was a mile long and only had a 20 min interval so no time to wait. Cant see why both these things cant be reinstated as before when theatre is open as normal and social distancing has gone.

The show was AMAZING, been a while since we all got out and I suggested the panto as the pandemic has made everything a bit gloomy last year and would be a good way to cheer us all up and that is exactly what it did. The performance was really good i enjoyed how they made it there own, it was a really good day and the staff were very friendly. I recommend to anyone who loves a good show!

I would like to see more rock bands - tributes booked like in 2014 Deep Purple with ZZ Top, AC/DC Livewire - which were
excellent. All very well having tribute singing acts from the 1950s and 60s but would be great to have some great live music as well.
Also I found in my second year here in Skegness that the same acts are booked back again. More variety needed to suit all tastes.

Great news about Live Wire, thank you for booking them again. We also enjoyed the Status Quo tribute and Roy Wood and his band were fantastic. Will look online tomorrow to see if Live Wire has been added to the website to book. Cheers
